Creating Inclusive Economies Conference

The Creating Inclusive Economies Conference will  focus on building bridges between public (government), private (businesses), and civil society (community organizations) sectors and finding ways to engage and collaborate on innovative policy development with the goal of enhancing the economic and social wellbeing of rural citizens. The conference is co-hosted by the Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation [1] and the Community Economic Development and Employability Corporation [2]. About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
