Master of Landscape Architecture program - Digital Design and Visualization Lecture

Theodore Horr, Terrain Work [1]

Theodore Hoerr is the founding principal of Terrain Work, a New York City-based landscape architecture and urban design firm. He is a licensed landscape architect who has led the design and implementation of a wide range of projects in North and South America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. His work ranges from large-scale urban strategies that shape the future of cities to small-scale landscapes that emphasize the craft of building.  Hoerr’s professional and academic work explores how the temporal dynamics of landscape create new emergent forms and experiences, synthesizing culture, nature and the built environment.  He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design in Landscape Architecture, He has an MLA and MLAUD from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design (GSD).

All MLA's are welcome to join the lecture.  Check your email for the videoconference information.

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
