She is involved in advocacy work within the profession as an editorial board member of Landscapes|Paysages magazine, as a member of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects' Advocacy Task Force, and was recently named a director of the Landscape Architecture Canada Foundation. At the age of 31, she was nominated as president elect for the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects in 2014. She coordinates free lectures in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to build the public's capacity and knowledge surrounding planning and design issues. Natalie currently works at the University of Saskatchewan and supports the planning and development of major capital projects. As an avid traveler, she welcomes any opportunity to escape Saskatchewan winters and is thrilled to be back at the University of Guelph.

This lecture is supported by the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects, The Ontario Agricultural College and Prof. Robert D. Brown.

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
