Please join us in the Pit on Monday, November 20th, for a special lecture called ‘Graphic Power’ by award-winning graphic designer and communications professional Jay Wall. The lecture will focus on how landscape architects and planners use communication design in inclusive engagement processes.

Jay Wall RGD is the Principal Creative Director at Briteweb, a creative agency dedicated to social change. He founded the design studio RallyRally, which merged with Briteweb, where he now leads the team in designing brands, websites, campaigns, and publications. As an advocate for equity-focused public participation, Jay has guided communication and community engagement for planning projects in cities across North America.

This lecture is generously supported by the Student Teaching Enhancement Fund through the Ontario Agricultural College Student Federation.

The lecture is part of LARC*4610/LARC*6360 Professional Practice course, but all are welcome to attend.

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
