Date:
Monday, March 21st, 2016 (All day)

Landscape Architecture students:

The landscape architecture programs need more images to use on our website and in our promotional materials and we are turning to all of you once again for contributions and the chance to WIN one of four $50.00 UofG gift cards.

This year's contest is titled "Show your Process".  We are seeking images (photos, plans, diagrams, digital images) that relate to all the steps you encounter as you complete the design process and the process of earning your degree here at Guelph. We are interested in landscape architecture images that capture:

  • Studios in action
  • Projects/project sites/ project representation (at any stage of development) (2 winners in this category)
  • Presentations
  • Field trips - especially if the site is distinctive and includes one or more of our students (no generic tourist shots, please)
  • Conferences
  • Internships and exchanges
  • Independent studies

Images may include people but people should be involved in activities, working on drawings, etc.  Always ask if they mind having their picture taken for this purpose.

All photos should be high resolution, preferably 300 dpi or at least 1 MB.

All submissions DUE  by Monday, March 21. Judging will occur between March 28 and April 1.  All entries must include a signed copy of the attached photo release form.

Entries to be submitted to lapromo@uoguelph.ca [1] with an indication of the category in which you would like your image to be judged. Multiple images may be submitted. (We reserve the right to move images to another category.)

Get going and give us your best shots!!

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways.
