Nick is devoted to advancing the practice of landscape architecture and urbanism, primarily through his work and leadership across a variety of project types and scales, from large-scale urban design and public realm projects, to small well-crafted, detail design projects around the world. He has a special commitment to improving cities through strong contemporary designs that are inspired by the broad environmental and social imperatives facing cities. His unique approach emphasizes systems-based thinking and design strategies that offer new ways to consider complex urban conditions in order to pragmatically resolve problems and innovates new possibilities. In all of his work, there is a strong commitment to the creation of a vibrant and dynamic public realm that is informed and inspired by the relationship between people and their natural, social and built environment.
Nick’s design experience spans across nine countries in landscape architecture, urban design, public realm and climate adaptation projects of various sizes and scope. He has worked with both private and public clients and with large, multi-disciplinary teams, where he has led and advanced complex, creative, and collaborative efforts on numerous internationally renowned, innovative, and award-winning projects. He holds a Bachelor’s in Urban and Regional Planning, and a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture.
This lecture is supported by Maglin Site Furniture [2].
