Guelph’s Landscape Architecture programs will host an LA Networking Night for students, alumni, and practitioners on Thursday, March 12th, and we hope you will join us!

Reviving what had been an annual tradition before the pandemic, this event offers a casual opportunity for students and professionals to connect, exchange insights about the profession, and explore potential pathways for internships and post-graduation careers.  The event will be a casual opportunity for students and practitioners to mix and mingle with food and refreshments provided.  This will be an excellent opportunity for students to practice their networking skills, and make some important connections that could lead to internships and jobs down the road, AND to meet some interesting people.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP HERE [1] no later than Friday, February 27th.

On behalf of the LA Career Night Committee: Emily Pham (BLA 4); Jacqueline Argier (BLA 2); Kaitlyn Seow (MLA 1); Calin Quinlin (BLA 2); Kaithleen Gacita (BLA 2); Tasnia Hasan (BLA 2); and Professors Kearney Coupland and Brendan Stewart (LA Faculty)

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
