The Capacity Development and Extension program presents a guest lecture, "Critical Dimensions of Agenda: 2030 - Communication Matters!"

Join us for a learning session with Dr. Adam Sneyd [1] of the University of Guelph, Political Science Department and author of Hidden Politics [2]. Dr. Sneyd explores analysis of the 17 SDGs and we discuss the importance of what should be the 18thg SDG communication!

Let's explore why transparency, public advocacy and participatory communication lie at the heart of progress to and beyond Agenda 2030, in Canada, and internationally.

For more information, please contact Professor Helen Hambly [3].

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
