LA Students Receive Honourable Mentions for WLAM Poster Competition

Submitted by dfoolen on March 12th, 2013 9:55 AM

Each year the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects sponsors the World Landscape Architecture Month Poster Competition.

This year's theme was green roofs. Green roofs and green walls are a rapidly growing area of practice, offering an unprecedented level of integration between buildings and landscapes.

Two honourable mentions were awarded to Diane Relyea, a Master of Landscape Architecture student and Adam Léger, a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture student.

About World Landscape Architecture Month:  Every April, Canadian landscape architects join their colleagues around the world to celebrate our profession. April is the perfect month to share our profession and reach out to our communities, notable for Earth Day (April 22nd) and the birthday of Frederick Law Olmsted (April 27th), founder of the landscape architecture profession in North America.
