The Landscape Architecture Canada Foundation (LACF) announced the recipients of its 2014 grants in support of research, communication and scholarship.

Five of the eight grants awarded went to individuals and groups with Guelph affiliations.  SEDRD Professor Robert Corry, MLA students Mark Affum, Chad Neufeld and Kathleen Corey, MLA alumni Jon Woodside, Jeffrey Beaton, and BLA alumni Victoria Bell, Adrienne Hall and Robin Mosseri are all among this year's recipients.

The Landscape Architecture Canada Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that supports the ideals of the profession of landscape architecture, striving to balance human use and enjoyment of landscapes with the conservation and health of the environment.  For more information on LACF please visit their website at www.lacf.ca.

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
