Congratulations to Prof. Karen Landman in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, University of Guelph who was among 56 women nominated for the 2016 YMCA-YWCA Guelph Women of Distinction Awards [1] in the Education and Training category.  Twelve UofG faculty, staff and students were among the women nominated (see UoG news article U of G Members Among Women of Distinction Nominees [2]).

The YMCA-YWCA of Guelph Annual Women of Distinction fundraising awards recognizes women in the Guelph community for their outstanding  achievements and contributions to the community, and re-invests in our local youth through YMCA-YWCA of Guelph programs.  The annual awards will be handed out May 5, 2016 during a gala at the River Run Centre in Guelph.
