Congratulations to Professor Karen Landman who is the recipient of the 2016 YMCA-YWCA of Guelph Women of Distinction Award in the category of Education and Training. Dr. Landman is a Professor in Landscape Architecture at the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, University of Guelph.

The Gala awards ceremony was held May 5, 2016 at the River Run Centre in Guelph, Ontario.  The YMCA-YWCA of Guelph Annual Women of Distinction [1] fundraising awards recognizes women in the community for their outstanding achievements and contributions to our community, and re-invests in the local youth through YMCA-YWCA of Guelph programs, such as the Guelph Y Teenage Parents Program (TAPPs).
