SEDRD Joins Forces for Agricultural Leadership

Submitted by dfoolen on June 10th, 2013 3:54 PM

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) is known for its collaborations with community groups, rural organizations and associations. Providing a critical service for many in Ontario and across the world, the school is often sought out to perform research, evaluation and provide helpful data to enhance these groups’ offerings, services and program delivery. A great example of this service is a recent collaboration between SEDRD researchers and the Rural Ontario Institute to strengthen the programming of their Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP).

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
