Description: The Building Vibrant Rural Futures conference will bring together rural and Indigenous leaders, community-based organizations, policy makers, researchers, and businesses to discuss the future of rural communities. The Building Vibrant Rural Futures Conference will serve as a critical platform to explore a number of subthemes including: (i) local and regional economic development, (ii) labour force development and training, (iii) climate change and the impacts on rural communities, (iv) how rural communities can utilize data, and (v) indigenous transformations. The conference will bring together nearly 200 people from across Canada, United States, Mexico, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, and Italy!
