Fall 2017 Orientation Schedule - School of Environmental Design & Rural Development (SEDRD)

Wednesday, September 6th:   SEDRD Orientation Day

9:30 am:  
Landscape Architecture Student Society (LASS); for landscape architecture students.    Information provided on the LASS student association—goals, plans, activities, fees, building tour etc.   Location:   LA 125.

10:00 am:
SEDRD Graduate Student Society Campus Scavenger Hunt for all new graduate students.  Meet in the LA Pit.

10:00 - 11:30 am:
BLA - Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Information Session.  BLA overview, registration / counselling information and program questions.  Location:  LA 125.

10:30 - 11:30 am:  
Ph.D. Rural Studies Meeting.   Orientation and information session.  Location: LA 133.

11:30 am - noon:  
Introduction to the School of Environmental Design & Rural Development.  Brief introduction for all new students to SEDRD faculty and staff.  Location:  LA Pit Foyer.

Noon:  
LUNCH for All New SEDRD Graduate and Undergraduate Students.  Location: LA Pit Foyer.

1:00 pm:  
SEDRD Graduate Student Association (SEDRD-GSS):  for all new graduate students: 
Information provided on the SEDRD-GSS student association - goals, plans, activities.  Location:   LA 143.

1:30 pm:  
MLA - Master of Landscape Architecture Information Session.  Introductory session with      faculty; detailed information will be given on the MLA graduate program.  Location: LA 125.
and
RPD - Master of Rural Planning (MSc & MPlan)  Information Session.  Introductory session with faculty; detailed information will be given on the RPD programs; opportunity for students to meet later with their advisors.   Location: LA 143.

2:30 pm:  
CDE - Masters in Capacity Development and Extension Information Session.  Introductory   session with faculty; detailed information will be given on the CDE program; opportunity for students to meet later with their advisors. Location: LA 127.
