Graduate Programs
The Department offers a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Marketing & Consumer Studies. There is also a collaborative M.Sc. program that is offered with International Development Studies (M.Sc.MCS+IDEV). In addition, the Department collaborates with two other units in the College of Management and Economics to offer a Ph.D. in Management. Both programs are research-intensive.
The M.Sc. allows students to focus on the multi-disciplinary examination of consumer behaviour and other marketplace phenomena.
Students can select from three broad fields of inquiry in the Ph.D. in Management: (1) Marketing and Consumer Behaviour, (2) Services Management, and (3) Organizational Leadership. The Department's faculty members are involved in all three fields.
