Conditions

  • Review your offer email to ensure you're aware of the admission conditions you need to fulfill. 
    Note: all conditions must be fulfilled by August 14, 2026. 

Residence

  • Apply for residenceby June 1, 2026.
  • More information about eligibility for residence, including the application process and deadlines, can be found at housing.uoguelph.ca.
  • Note: You must have an offer of admission to be eligible to apply for residence. The residence application will open on February 1, 2026.
  • Living off campus is a popular choice with many students. You can find more information about housing options and how to stay connected by visiting the Off Campus Living page.

Commuting

Course Selection

  • Enrolment Services will send you a welcome email that includes The Registration Guide for New Students. This resource will include information about your first year courses as well as how to register.

Note: if you're applying from high school in Ontario, the welcome email will also include your student login credentials.

Accessible Learning

  • If you experience a disability and require academic accommodations, register with Student Accessibility Services as soon as possible after accepting your offer.  New students must submit a SAS Application Form by June 15  for accommodations to be available for the start of classes. 

  • Students are responsible for confirming whether their required accommodations are compatible with their program and/or course requirements. Accommodations can’t compromise essential requirements, and registering for a program or course doesn’t guarantee you’ll get a specific accommodation. 

Co-op

  • If you have been accepted into co-operative education, the Co-op Foundations Coordinator will be in touch with you in your first semester regarding the steps you'll take as a co-op student.

Campus Card

  • The Campus Card Office will provide you with your official University of Guelph identification card - visit their website for the steps you need to follow.

Connect

  • Watch for more information from Student Experience to meet others and get involved. To support your transition, weekly START emails will be sent to your Gryphmail in the summer.
