Society of Computing and Information Science

We are the Society of Computing and Information Science (SOCIS), a student organization for the University of Guelph's School of Computer Science.

SOCIS is here to represent all School of Computer Science students, this includes those enrolled in computer science, software engineering, the general computing degree, and all minors. We represent the students in the School of Computer Science council meetings, which has far reaching effects on important topics like curriculum, and in the College of Engineering and Physical Science Student Council (CEPSSC) meetings.

We meet weekly on Thursdays at 5:30 PM in Reynolds Building, Room 1101 to discuss current matters and events. Or come join us in the SOCIS lounge, Reynolds 0010, anytime. Please join our Facebook group or follow us on Instagram to stay connected!
