Convocation Schedule

Ceremony registration for Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 graduates will open on WebAdvisor the week of March 15, 2027.

Gown rental and ticket payment is due by Friday, June 4, 2027 and must be done through WebAdvisor. Last day to request a gown rental or ticket refund is Monday, June 7, 2027.

All ceremonies will be held in the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre.

IMPORTANT: As some colleges offer multiple ceremony dates and times, please verify your registration on WebAdvisor before finalizing any plans.

The Summer 2027 Convocation schedule will be available the week of March 15, 2027.

First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Students

In addition to attending Convocation, First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students are welcome to attend and be recognized at the Celebration of Indigenous Achievement hosted annually by the Indigenous Student Centre (ISC). The celebration is a unique opportunity to celebrate your successes with family, friends, and communities that supported your educational journey.

Black-Identifying Students

In addition to attending Convocation, Black-identifying graduates are invited to participate in the Black Graduation and Achievement Ceremony. This annual celebration recognizes the accomplishments, resilience, and contributions of Black students and provides an opportunity to celebrate this milestone with family, friends, and community.

Future Ceremony Dates

The dates of convocation will take place within the following parameters:

Winter Convocation

Effective February 2020, senate approved a motion to end the practice of holding winter (February) convocation ceremonies. This decision only affects the ceremony. Students who finish their studies in the fall semester will still be able to receive their degree parchment in the winter semester and will be invited to attend designated winter grad ceremonies during summer (June) convocation and formally cross the stage at that time.

Please note, winter graduates will have their own designated ceremony times during the summer (June) convocation. We cannot accommodate winter graduates at any other ceremony, other than the date/time designated to winter grads.

Summer Convocation

During the week of the second Monday of June. View Calendar.
