Instructors in Training

Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes at Creative Encounters? Have an interest in STEM outreach AND want to build up your resume? Instructors in Training will allow campers to explore science communication, build interpersonal skills, and have some good old camp fun all through an awesome, hands-on two week program.

This 2-week camp includes a weekend break. In week 1, campers join group activities, team building, and classic camp fun. In week 2, they’ll shadow STEM Instructors and CE team members as mentors, applying what they've learned. Week 2 also counts toward volunteer hours—campers can earn up to 40 community service hours while having fun!

This camp is capped at 10 campers per session.
