Wellington Woods is a close-knit community located at 252 Stone Road West. We offer 139 two-bedroom townhouses designed for students with dependent children. Each unit contains a primary bedroom, secondary bedroom, study nook, bathroom, and a kitchen and living/dining room on the main floor. All townhouses are unfurnished. The unfinished basement offers a washer and dryer and loads of extra storage space!

Wellington Woods features a small outdoor patio, a shared greenspace and playground for children. This site is located within walking distance to campus, local schools, shopping areas, and bus transit to campus on Stone Road.

Additional Information

You must be a full-time registered student to apply for and continue to live in Family Housing at the University of Guelph.

Family Housing tenancies are administered under the Residential Tenancies Act. The first offer will be for a one-year tenancy term (as long as you remain a registered student) and tenants sign an N11 Notice annually, subject to review. Regardless of the tenancy term, students must end their tenancy when you cease to be a registered student.

For new tenancies beginning May 1, 2026, or beyond, the monthly rent is $1780.00*

This rate includes all utilities (heat, hydroelectricity, water) as well as a washer and dryer. The rent does not include internet, telephone or television.
