All campus residences are just an 8-10-minute walk from the heart of campus, with easy access to services like fitness, health, career support, the library, and more.

24-hour Assistance
Residence Desk Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support with keys, process maintenance requests, and offer support from on-call Residence Life Staff (RLS).

Over the past decade, we've been voted the #1 University Food Service in Canada by Maclean's Magazine. At U of G, we understand that food is an essential part of your on-campus living experience.
We have 5 full-service dining halls, with 3 conveniently located within our residence buildings, along with additional dining options across campus.
Meal plans are available in a variety of sizes to fit your lifestyle and dining habits.
- A meal plan is required for students living in traditional residences, including North and South Residences.
- In East Residence, East Village and West Village, meal plans are optional since students have access to full kitchens.
Have dietary needs or food allergies? Whether you require vegetarian, halal, allergen-aware, or other specialized meal options, support is available. Contact Hospitality Services to learn more about dietary accommodations and available resources.
