Show Off Your Space. Inspire a Future Gryphon!
We're looking for residence students who are excited to give future Gryphons and their families a real glimpse into residence life. If you love living on campus, are passionate about U of G, and enjoy connecting with others, we want you to help welcome the next generation of Gryphons!
There are two types of Residence Ambassadors:
- Weekly Tours
- Special Event Days
Why join the Residence Ambassador Program (RAP) team?
Small Commitment:
If you are selected as a Weekly Tour Ambassador, you are expected to commit 2-3 hours per week to the program, but it couldn't be easier! You stay in your room doing what you would normally be doing, and a campus tour group will come to you!
Inspire Future Gryphons:
Your willingness to show your room and share the wonderful experience of being a Gryphon may inspire someone to choose the University of Guelph and live in residence.
Build Your Resume:
Residence Ambassadors are a key part of the University of Guelph’s Admission Services team and may lead to other paid opportunities in second year and beyond, such as Campus Tour Guide positions.

Requirements
As a Residence Ambassadors, you must be available on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. to show your residence room during the Fall Open House.
