Profile
I am an ecologist who studies the links between global change and ecological structure and functioning, primarily in aquatic ecosystems. I use a combination of theory, data, and conceptual synthesis to address critical problems in today’s changing world. I am particularly interested in the feedbacks between ecological dynamics and various axes of global change, such as the interactions between multiple anthropogenic stressors (e.g., climate change, nutrient pollution, harvesting), environmental variation (e.g., seasonality, disturbances), and their combined effects on population and food web dynamics. My research ranges from socio-economic harvesting dynamics to addressing fundamental questions in ecology in the context of a changing world.
