Profile

I completed my undergraduate Honours Science degree at the University of Waterloo. I am now in Dr. Shoshanah Jacob's lab doing research in SoTL (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning). I will be looking into how students' mental health impacts their learning and explore ways to improve the accessibility of biology education for students with mental illness. I have been an advocate for people with mental illness and disabilities for many years and have been helping students succeed in their academic pursuits as a private tutor for fourteen years. I'm excited to combine those two worlds in my master's research.
