Profile

I received my Hons. BSc from the University of Guelph in 2018, majoring in Bio-Medical Science and minoring in Zoology. After graduating I went on to work at the Biodiversity Institute of Ontario as a Research Technician, sorting and identifying insect specimens and assisting with herbarium specimen sampling.

Throughout my BSc I had the opportunity to be involved in several research experiences which fostered my interest in pursuing a master's degree. During my undergrad I also developed a keen interest in science education when I joined Wild Ontario (www.wildontario.ca) and saw the incredible impact that experiential learning and environmental education can have on people.

I look forward to working with Dr. Shoshanah Jacobs and Dr. Karl Cottenie on a project that will combine my interest in research with my love for science education and ecology.
