Sean Kelly honoured by the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture

Congratulations to Sean Kelly [1], Associate Professor and Director of the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development who was honoured by the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA) [2] at the annual conference held March 6-9, 2019 in Sacramento California.  This year's CELA conference theme was "Engaged Scholarship:  Bringing together research, teaching and service".  The annual conference brings over 400 attendees from across the world to exchange their recent scholarly activities from teaching, research and service engagement projects.

Prof. Kelly received the "CELA Award for Outstanding Administrator" award recognizing his outstanding administrative commitment to the school, his students and the profession of landscape architecture.

Congratulations are also in order for the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture student team who won an honourable mention for the Student Award for Creative Scholarship for the WinterStations' project called "Rising Up".  BLA team members include:  Zixiang Chen, Alexander Good, Stephan Stelliga, Marc Cote, Kevin Saddlemyer and Huang Qi . This student submission was advised by Professors Nadia Amoroso and Sean Kelly.
