Dr. Karen Landman [1] professor in landscape architecture in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, was recently interviewed regarding the benefits that Urban Agriculture can provide, including stormwater mitigation, biodiversity, pollinator habitat, world crops and social connections.  The article can be found on the CBC online news entitled "How urban gardening could be at the forefront of climate change adaptation in Canada's cities [2]".
