State of Rural Canada Webinar

Description: The Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation (CRRF) and the Rural Policy Learning Commons are bringing together a panel of rural researchers in this exclusive webinar to discuss the rural policy across Canada. In 2015, CRRF released the “State of Rural Canada Report” to draw attention to rural challenges, rural diversity, and rural opportunities. Panelists will highlight details of the report and identify issues that will likely be discussed at the upcoming Building Vibrant Rural Futures Conference (www.guelph2016.crrf.ca) in Guelph.
Panelists for the webinar include: Sean Markey (Simon Fraser University), Ryan Gibson (University of Guelph), Heather Hall (University of Waterloo), Al Lauzon (University of Guelph), Laurie Guimond (Université du Québec à Montréal), Robert Greenwood (Memorial University), and Chris Southcott (Lakehead University).
