ARCHYTAS Jaennicke, 1867: 392 (also 1868: 84). Type species: Archytas bicolor Jaennicke, 1867 (= Tachina diaphana Fabricius, 1805), by monotypy [Neotropical].
PSEUDOARCHYTAS Townsend, 1915a: 185. Type species: Pseudoarchytas marmorata Townsend, 1915, by original designation.


amethystinus (Macquart, 1844).– Georgia, unrecognized species (S&A, 1965).
