BLONDELIA Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830: 122. Type species: Blondelia nitida Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 (= Tachina nigripes Fallén, 1810), by subsequent designation of Duponchel, 1842: 609 (see Evenhuis & Thompson, 1990: 233) [Palearctic].
