– Tachina comta Fallén, 1810: 277 (also subsequently spelled compta, unjustified emendation). Type data: holotype female [not male as cited by Townsend, 1939a: 222] (NHRS). Type locality: Sweden.
– Linnaemya distincta Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830: 54. Type data: holotype female (MNHN). Type locality: USA, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
