Genus Mystacella van der Wulp, 1890

MYSTACELLA van der Wulp, 1890: 51. Type species: Mystacella solita van der Wulp, 1890, by subsequent designation of Coquillett, 1910b: 573 [Neotropical].
MACROMEIGENIA Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891: 7 (also 1892: 311). Type species: Tachina chrysoprocta Wiedemann, 1830, by monotypy.
ORGANOMYIA Townsend, 1915m: 232. Type species: Organomyia frontalis Townsend, 1915, by original designation. Tachina schistacea Meigen, 1824, in the original designation by Rondani (1859) [Palearctic].


chrysoprocta (Wiedemann, 1830).– Michigan to Massachusetts, south to Texas and Georgia, also Mexico to Costa Rica (S&A, 1965), Iowa, Ontario, Québec (CNC).
– Tachina chrysoprocta Wiedemann, 1830: 309. Type data: holotype female [not male as published] (NHMW). Type locality: unknown (South Carolina according to Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891: 7 [also 1892: 311] and North America cited by Townsend, 1940: 132).
– Tachina interrupta Walker, 1853: 295. Type data: holotype female (BMNH). Type locality: USA, Georgia.
