signifera (van der Wulp, 1890).– Oregon, California to Louisiana, Mexico, also Ontario and Québec, south to Florida (S&A, 1965), Mississippi, Tennessee (CNC).
– Cenosoma signifera van der Wulp, 1890: 167. Type data: lectotype female (BMNH), by fixation of Townsend, 1931a: 83 (mention of "female Ht" is regarded as a lectotype fixation; only 1 female in type series). Type locality: Mexico, Guerrero, Chilpancingo.

– Oestrophasia clausa Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1889: 146 (also 1890: 78). Type data: lectotype male (NHMW), by fixation of Townsend, 1931a: 82 (mention of "male Ht" is regarded as a lectotype fixation). Type locality: USA, southern Colorado.
