PLAGIOMIMA Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891: 80 (also 1892: 384). Type species: Plagiomima disparata Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891, by monotypy [Neotropical].
SIPHOPLAGIA Townsend, 1891b: 349. Type species: Siphoplagia anomala Townsend, 1891 (= Heteropterina spinosula Bigot, 1889), by original designation.
SIPHOPLAGIOPSIS Townsend, 1917a: 123. Type species: Siphoplagiopsis similis Townsend, 1917, by original designation.

– Siphoplagia anomala Townsend, 1891b: 350. Type data: syntypes, 3 females (2 female syntypes in SEMK) (mention by Townsend, 1939a: 398, of "Ht female" in SEMK is not regarded as a lectotype fixation because the specimen in question cannot be distinguished from among the 2 female syntypes in SEMK). Type locality: USA, New Mexico, Las Cruces (on flowers of Aster spinosus).
