
Accessible Parking
Permit Options & Details
To park in an accessible space on campus, you must display:
- A valid ServiceOntario (MTO) Accessible Parking Permit
and
- Pay via paybyphone/HONK or
- Hold a valid University of Guelph parking permit.
Short-Term or Temporary Accessible Parking
If you do not have a valid ServiceOntario (MTO) Accessible Parking Permit and require short‑term or temporary accessible parking needs, you must contact either:
- Students: Contact Student Accessibility Services.
- Staff: Contact Occupational Health & Wellness.
Once SAS or OHW approve your accommodation:
- Parking service will be notified to process your accessible parking accommodation.
- Payment via paybyphone/ HONK or a University of Guelph parking permit is still required.
Visitors & Short‑Term Accessible Parking
- Visitors with a valid MTO Accessible Parking Permit may park in any accessible space.
- Payment must be made via paybyphone at marked accessible locations.
- Ensure the MTO permit is clearly displayed.
All MTO‑designated accessible spaces operate on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
