How do I upload my University of Guelph Administrative courses ?

Upon appointment to the first work assignment, most employees are automatically enrolled in the courses and will find them on Courselink, in the "Resources" section.

There are typically three (3) UofG administrative courses required of each employee.  Each must be completed prior to the end of the first work assignment:

  • EHS Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training Certificate. See EHS Online Course Registrations, where if necessary, graduate students can enroll themselves into the EHS Worker Health and Safety Awareness course.
  • Accessible Service Provision Completion Certificate
  • Making Education Accessible Completion Certificate

Academic Units may require you to complete one or more administrative course(s).

Not only must all modules be completed in Courselink, you must also demonstrate their completion prior to applying for a second work assignment.  Here are the steps:

  1. Complete the course(s) in Courslink, ensuring you have completed each module in its entirety;
  2. Download the certificate upon completion and save the PDF;
  3. Go to your PROFILE - > Select the EDIT tab - > Scroll to the bottom to "University of Guelph, Administrative courses";
  4. Identify the courses you have taken by selecting each from the list of courses “I have taken the following University of Guelph courses” (Control-Click to highlight all three);
  5. AND, upload the PDF certificates you have downloaded from Courselink.
  6. Don't forget to SAVE.

To be clear, in your Profile you must choose the course(s) you have taken AND upload the certificate(s). Steps 4 AND 5 are critical. There will be delays in assigning your seniority point if you have not completed the course(s) AND updated your Profile by the end of your first work assignment.

If you have already completed the course(s), you may return to Courselink to obtain the certificate(s) and follow the steps above.
