Required Qualifications:
Applicants must: a) be enrolled in a Chemistry graduate program, b) have completed a B.SC. degree in chemistry, c) have experience teaching in chemistry laboratories, d) be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for teaching, e) be able to demonstrate an ability to create and maintain a safe work place, and f) be able to demonstrate previous satisfactory teaching performance. Applicants must be able to provide documentation indicating they have completed the following training programs: Lab Safety Training (EHS), WHMIS Training (EHS), Worker Health & Safety Awareness (EHS), Accessible Service Provision (CourseLink) and Making Education Accessible (CourseLink). Selection of successful candidates will be made in accordance with Article 11.04 of the CUPE 3913-1 collective agreement. Assignments to particular courses will be made in accordance with departmental needs and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants should be enrolled in a Chemistry graduate program with an emphasis in analytical chemistry.
