Required Qualifications:
Graduate students at the University of Guelph, eligible for employment in Unit 1 of Local 3913. Applicants must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), familiarity with ecological research in field settings, excellent experimental design, statistical and computing skills, and have the ability and aptitude to communicate clearly and enthusiastically to undergraduate students. Extensive experience with R software is mandatory. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be available from the start of the contract (Sept. 8, 2020) to complete all assigned duties, available to attend all mandatory meetings, invigilation of IB mid-term and final exams, and be available to the end of the contract (Dec. 24, 2020) to grade final exams/papers
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer students with proven experience with research in field and laboratory settings and who have demonstrated experience writing and publishing peer reviewed scientific papers, research proposals and/or experience with the peer review process.
