TAs are not normally required to attend class but there is a potential it may become a requirement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
GTAs should have an undergraduate education in agriculture, economics, or a business-related field, and experience in the Agri-food sector. Excellent computer skills with some understanding of muli-media computer applications experience on the internet, and written and verbal communication skills would be an asset. GTA's will be required to run 2 one-hour tutorial sessions each week, mark examinations and other assignments, and hold office hours. GTAs must be enthusiastic abut working with undergraduate agriculture and business students. Opportunity for developing writing assessment skills will be available and may be required. Positions are only open to graduate students. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be available on campus to complete all assigned duties as determined by the instructor(s), available to attend all mandatory meetings, and available until the end of the contract to invigilate and grade final exams.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
LECTURES: M,W,F 14:30-15:20. LAB/SEMINARS: (01)-Th 14:30-15:20; (02)-F 10:30-11:20; (03)-F 11:30-12:20; (04)-F 9:30-10:20; (05)-F 10:30-11:20. Each full 1.0 TA will be responsible for two seminar times.
