Required Qualifications: 
Graduate students at the University of Guelph, eligible for employment in Unit 1 of Local 3913. Preference will be given to a University of Guelph student who has previously taken FARE*4240 Futures and Options. They must possess excellent communication skills and be familiar with the practical application of futures options and other derivative instruments to price risk management problems within Ontario agribusiness. The GTA may be required to mark assignments, mark short weekly quizzes, mark exams, mark StockTrak trading projects, and assist with the preparation of course assessment material. Excellent communication (spoken and written) and computer skills are expected as is the capacity to work independently within agreed guidelines. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be available on campus to complete all assigned duties as determined by the instructor(s), available to attend all mandatory meetings, and available until the end of the contract to invigilate and grade final exams.
