Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
• Must be enrolled as a student in Fall 2026 and able to complete in-person responsibilities as needed; • The ability to communicate computer science concepts to students effectively, both in written form and verbally; • A solid knowledge of the subject areas (including propositional and predicate logic, proof techniques, set theory, functions and relations, Boolean algebra) and of the corresponding mathematical language. This knowledge should be demonstrated by an 80% (A) or higher performance in CIS*1910 or similar undergraduate discrete mathematics course. (You can obtain a copy of your unofficial transcript from WebAdvisor and include it as part of your application. The department reserves the right to verify grades); • The ability to formalize ideas mathematically and to communicate mathematical concepts to students effectively, both in written form and verbally.
Preferred Qualifications: 
• Previous successful TA experience supporting CIS*1910 or similar undergraduate discrete mathematics course.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
Must be available to teach at least three of the labs in person throughout the semester (e.g., available to teach labs 0102, 0105 and 0111 from week 1 to week 12). Unless otherwise specified, all labs and lectures will be face-to-face. Must be available to complete TA duties as required until the end of the work period.
Period of the Work Assignment (Start Date and End Date):

Wage Rate (per hour, per semester, per Full-load 1.0 Work Assignment): 
GTA $49.43/hr; $6,924.98/semester effective 2025/26
