Other Duties Described: 
Accurate and consistent grading of written work to be completed within 2 weeks, with constructive feedback as needed. Prompt and professional communication with instructor and students. Respond to student queries as required. Lecturing. Co-Facilitating (in class) reflection circles. Assisting learning teams with worksheets/projects.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Interest in contributing to teaching and learning. Must have completed an environmental sociology course or course covering human dimensions of environmental issues and/or are conducting social science research related to an environmental issue. Have knowledge of Indigenous knowledge systems and experience with Indigenous pedagogies. Have attended session(s) (or will attend sessions prior to GTAship) related to effective grading offered within the Teaching Assistant (TA) Training and Development Program coordinated by Office of Teaching and Learning.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Must be currently enrolled in a masters or doctoral degree program in Sociology or Anthropology. Understanding of the interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health. Experience grading exams with medium and long answers.
