Required Qualifications: 
APPLICANTS MUST INCLUDE A COVER LETTER WHICH PROVIDES A DETAILED EXPLANATION OF HOW THEY MEET EACH REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATION IN ADDITION TO THEIR RESUME. BA or BSC in Geography or related discipline; Enrolled in a masters or doctoral degree program in Geography or related discipline; Priority goes to students with at least one semester of GTA eligibility remaining as set out in the Department of Geography's offer of admission letter.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Basic knowledge of biogeography, community ecology, or forestry; Ability to provide substantive feedback on scientific papers; Knowledge of basic statistics, especially t-tests, correlation analysis, and simple linear regression; Functional knowledge of Excel.
