This course is designed to increase visual awareness and recognition of natural and planned design elements in the environment. This course is intended to expose design and non-design students to the work of various design professions and to educate regarding the design process and principles of design. The ultimate intent is to allow the understand the value of design. The TA will not be required to attend class but will be responsible for grading all assignments.

Required Qualifications: 
The candidate must be a graduate student in a related field and have an understanding of design as an applied process that responds to human need. Candidates must be graduate students in a design profession or have an undergraduate degree in design.
