Applicants may be invited for an interview. Applicants are encouraged to provide contact information for at least two references as additional evidence of subject area knowledge, teaching experience, and other qualifications. When applying for this work assignment, please be aware that the course is being delivered in a blended format, which includes face to face learning opportunities for students on campus. As such, applicants should be prepared for their work assignments to include some on-campus responsibilities. Other responsibilities will need to be performed remotely. Courses offered with face to face (on-campus) components may be required to pivot to alternate delivery methods in the case that requirements placed on the University and its employees by public health bodies, local, provincial and federal governments necessitate such a mid-semester transition. Should this occur, TAs will be required to continue to support the course in its alternate format.

Required Qualifications: 
The successful candidate will have: • Successfully completed this course or one similar with grades of at least B • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • An enthusiastic and professional attitude towards teaching • Completed, up-to-date Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training • Demonstrated competence in microcontroller programming and interfacing and assembly language programming
Preferred Qualifications: 
Candidates meeting the required qualifications will be evaluated on the following criteria: • Subject matter expertise including microcontroller programming and interfacing and assembly language program • Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Teaching experience, especially with online systems for delivery of course content and assessments as well as for grading and providing feedback on student work. • Teaching effectiveness • Lab experience related to the course material
