Required Qualifications: 
Graduate students at the University of Guelph, eligible for employment in Unit 1 of Local 3913. Applicants must have excellent communication skills (primarily written) in the English language. Good organizational skills will be required to effectively manage digital remote platforms. Comfortable using various electronic platforms to interact with students on their own and simultaneously with the instructor. A good background in limnology or oceanography, aquatic ecology, aquatic vertebrates, invertebrates, aquatic plants, plankton and macro-organisms is an asset. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be available from the start of the contract (Sept. 8, 2020) to complete all assigned duties, available to attend all mandatory meetings, invigilation of IB mid-term and final exams, and be available to the end of the contract (Dec. 24, 2020) to grade final exams/papers.
