Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
B.Sc. in Physics or closely related major ( e.g. Biophysics, Biological and Medical Physics, Engineering Physics, Chemical Physics). Demonstrated excellence in experimental physics. A grade of 80% or greater in PHYS*3510 and 4500. Demonstrated outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Hands-on experimental physics research experience. Previous GTA experience in an undergraduate physics course with a laboratory component strongly recommended.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
Mondays and Tuesdays: 2:30 - 5:20 Thursdays and Fridays: 2:30 - 5:20
Period of the Work Assignment (Start Date and End Date): 
September 8, 2020 to December 24, 2020
Wage Rate (per hour, per semester, per Full-load 1.0 Work Assignment): 
GTA MIN. $42.31/hr (pending collective bargaining; effective 2019/20)
