This contract will begin on August 24 and end December 24, 2020. You will be paid for 140 hours of work over this period, of which between 8 and 15 paid hours will be for additional training to help you prepare for the mode of delivery of the course for which you will be TAing. This additional training will be specified by your supervisor and may include online training modules as well as online college or departmental orientations. Additional hours will likely be available during the course of this work assignment. Details will be communicated to you by your supervisor.

AS PART OF THE ORIENTATION PROCESS, IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE SO, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE TWO ONLINE COURSES RELATED TO ACCESSIBILITY AND ONE WORKER HEALTH & SAFETY ONLINE COURSE. FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE FORTHCOMING IN A SEPARATE EMAIL FROM THE ADMIN ASSISTANT.
APPLICANTS MUST INCLUDE A COVER LETTER WHICH PROVIDES A DETAILED EXPLANATION OF EACH REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATION IN ADDITION TO THEIR RESUME. 1) Must be currently enrolled in a masters or doctoral degree program in History or a closely related field. 2) Substantive knowledge of course content, demonstrated by undergraduate or graduate coursework in history of Canada and the Second World War.
