Other Course Description or Assignment Information: 
This GSA position will focus on supporting the full production of the upcoming Hamlet Virtual Reality Experience project funded from eCampus Ontario and produced by SimWave VR from Ottawa. The GSA will be needed to help with background research, scheduling, proofreading, communication between the granting agency and the VR company, as well as communication to the professor, actors, and whole team about upcoming deadlines. They will also serve as an assistant to the professor throughout the term as the project completes its VR work (January – February) and then goes onwards to publish a short educational manual on both Hamlet and VR for distribution with this education VR software. IMPORTANT NOTE: U of G will progress its return to more conventional course delivery and offer in-person instruction for most courses in Winter 2022 in line with the Provost’s letter of Oct 18, 2021(https://news.uoguelph.ca/2021/10/update-on-plans-for-winter-2022-semester/). Compliance with the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy (https://www.uoguelph.ca/hr/staff-faculty-hr-policies-support-staff/713-covid-19-vaccination-policy) will continue to be required.

For this specialized Hamlet publication, the GSA will have to check on image licensing, permissions, layout, editing, proofreading, and more. Good communication skills and organization will be key skills needed for this GSA position.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Applicant must be enrolled as an MA or PhD student in SETS and have excellent analytical and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications: 
MA or PhD in ENGL/THST/LSTS/IMPR.
